Fastshop speeds up your store's media experience like nobody else does. We optimize your product videos and images, make them lighter, and give a serious boost to your store's load times. Faster load times = higher conversion rates. No limits on how many images and videos our app can optimize for your store!

When you install fastshop and launch it, it will analyze your entire store’s product media gallery to identify opportunities for optimization. This is done with zero loss to the perceptible quality of these files. Fastshop will also store a backup of your original files if you ever decide to revert to the original media files. It also automatically scans for and optimizes any new media files that you upload to your existing and new line of products. We will send out a weekly summary of your savings so you can keep tabs on the continued savings fastshop automatically enabled for your store.

Fastshop is powered by Crunch Mediaworks. Crunch has created and patented the industry’s first ML/AI model that is capable of simultaneously tackling resolution upscale, frame interpolation, noise reduction, and distortion reduction in video files. For images, we use a custom crafted lossless compression technology. Our unique model and training methodology works with your own data sets to accomplish a wide range of media use cases.

That depends on how many media files you have on your store. Very large stores can sometimes take more than 2-3 days. Most stores are optimized within the hour. You don’t have to wait for fastshop to finish its optimization in order to get on with your day. We will send out an alert email as soon as it’s done while you go about running your business!

There can be many reasons for this, because there are many reasons why your site might be slow to begin with. If the size of your media files is not a critical factor in slowing your store down, fastshop’s optimization may not cause a serious dent in the lag your store is facing. We recommend using Google’s Page Speed Insights as a tool to identify what might be going wrong with your site that’s causing it to load slower than normal in the first place.
